ClassCAD needs to measure. The engine has to be a build with v1/part/getMetadata. Older builds still open and check files, but the Overview stays empty.
Pictures are optional. Thumbnails come from the ClassCAD renderer, which a worker loads from CLASSCAD_RENDERER_DIR. Without it there are no pictures, and everything else works.
The editor needs one of two things. Either a ClassCAD WebAssembly key for your PDM's address, so ClassCAD runs in the browser, or the editor running on the server through the scheduler. The editor explains both.
Disk. Files are stored once each, whatever refers to them. Plan for your models plus what's derived from them, and back the folder up with the database.
