Editing in Buerligons
Edit on a draft opens it in Buerligons, our CAD app, in the full window. An empty draft opens as a new part or assembly; the first save makes its source. The draft is reserved for you while it's open.
The PDM's tools sit at the left of Buerligons' bar:
- ← goes back to the PDM and gives the reservation back.
- The document's menu, named by its number, has Save into the draft, Autosave every minute (for parts), New (a part or sub-assembly in this assembly, or a new assembly with this part), Insert from PDM (in assemblies) and Back to the PDM.
- Save writes the model into the draft as its new source. A red dot means there's something to save. ⌘S or Ctrl S does the same.
Saving queues the usual job, so the PDM measures the model again.
In an assembly, every part and sub-assembly you change is saved into the draft of its own document, and new ones become new documents. If you saved parts the assembly doesn't use as versions yet, the menu offers to make versions of them and use those.
Where ClassCAD runs for the editor, in the browser or on your server, is a setting: see The editor.
