History

History shows a document's versions, newest first, either as a timeline or as a graph. The timeline is a list you can open: each version with its name, comment, revision and content. The graph shows branches as lanes, with the second line of a take-over.

A version's menu has what you can do with it:

  • Release gives it the next revision letter.
  • Branch from here starts a branch on it.
  • Restore into the draft puts it back into its branch's draft.
  • Take over into … brings it into the draft of the branch you're in.
  • Make revision … obsolete, for a released one.
  • Take the release back, for administrators.

The branch switch in the document's strip changes which branch you work in. Branches can be renamed and archived there too.
